Yep, another long period with very little posts, sorry about that. I was at the Himalayan Institute for the weekend (a really cool place, by the way, partly because it gives you a break from these evil computing devices and the cynicism that comes with surfing the web too much), and now I'm sitting up straighter and think I might actually start doing yoga or at least some exercise regularly. Before that the semester was ending and I was putting together a portfolio for photography class (maybe I'll post some images to the art section). I've also been reading some Hunter S. Thompson stuff ("Kingdom of Fear"), though I haven't promoted it to the "Recommended Book" slot upon realizing that the guy is far more of an egotistical and untrustworthy asshole than I had thought after reading Fear and Loathing (but still a very, very fun[ny] writer).
So as to not be posting something solely boring and personal, how about that Sharon thing? My mom was betting with me on whether Ariel would get booted out of government permanently (sort of brings the Policy Analysis Market to mind, which incidentally still seems to exist in some form), but I doubt it. If he does resign or get kicked out somehow, it will be another example of how the media and public seem to care more about easy-to-call little bribery scandals or blowjobs than outright butchery of civilians.
Oh, yeah: Thanks for posting all the queer news updates, Lee! If you people reading this have spotted anything interesting regarding gay issues recently, e-mail her with a link as she's settled into her going-to-college thing and now has time to post stuff.
